Maria Orfanoudaki<\/strong> – MO<\/span><\/strong> –
\nBorn in Gavaloxori in Chania, Crete,The daughter of Penelope<\/strong><\/span> and George Orfanoudaki schoolteacher<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And grandson of<\/span> Efstathiou<\/span> PEROULI\u00a0<\/span> Members\u00a0MP<\/span><\/span> of<\/span> Eleftherios VENIZELOS<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She graduated from E.S.K.T. (School of Liberal Arts<\/strong>) of Athens and the \u201cAcademic de la Grande Chaumiere<\/strong>\u201d<\/span> of Paris.<\/p>\n

In 1969, inFrance, she was granted the \u201cHaute\u00a0 international\u00a0 de\u00a0 lutece<\/strong> \u201d diploma and the painting medal.<\/p>\n

She has applied herself to poetry as well. Some of her poems have been translated into French by Christine Noton<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n

In 1969, she was granted the \u201cHaute\u00a0 Internationale\u00a0 de Lhtece\u201d poetry prize.<\/p>\n

In 1979 she was granted the Academia Italia<\/span><\/strong> gold metal and prize and in 1983 the Academiko d\u2019Europa <\/strong><\/span>prize.<\/p>\n

In addition she has given three anti-war conferences at the Athens\u2019, Thessaloniki\u2019s and Chania\u2019s Town-Halls, subjected \u201cMen and Women not wearing Military Uniform\u201d.<\/p>\n

    Her paintings have been at Pictures Galleries near by those Renoir<\/strong>, Matis<\/strong>, Picasso<\/strong>, Gogen<\/strong><\/span> etc.<\/p>\n

    And, as Paul Petridis said (one of the greatest valuers in the world), she is the painter of the future. Until today, she has organized 28 personal exhibitions and she has participated in many other collective painting exhibitions in Greece and abroad. In 1971 she creates the House of Fashion of high sewing, named \u201c M.O \u201d, in Athens.<\/p>\n

    In 1981 she creates in Chania of Crete the \u00a0Atelier<\/strong> \u00a0of \u00a0P E A C E<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 which constitutes the certificate of her \u2013 until now \u2013 efforts.<\/p>\n

    From 1989 her despair and her anxiety for a Peaceful World lead her to a new way of Expression and Communication. She makes Videos-Films<\/strong> with a purely Anti-warlike character. All the Stage Production, the Montage, the Photography has been executed by herself !!!<\/p>\n

    In 1991 she released her First Televised program with the title \u201cScreams<\/strong> of M.O<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span> (Tashes, in greek) and \u201cMy Wants<\/strong> of M.O<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span> with the collaboration of Channel KRITI \u2013 1, Chania.<\/p>\n

    In 2002, she also gets candidate for the Prefectoral elections in Chania Crete.<\/p>\n

    At this time, she makes Musical Compositions<\/strong><\/span>. In all of her tries you can see the question of the place where the \u201c Divine \u201d and the \u201c Human\u201d dimension in a world which has lost the elementary notion of \u00a0Divinity<\/strong> \u00a0and \u00a0Human<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n
